Welcome to the Minorca Property Owners Association

Minorca, a private condominium community in charming New Smyrna Beach, is located on the northern tip of its barrier island.  There are seven condominium buildings in the Minorca Property Owners Association (MPOA). Each of the 310 Minorca condominium unit owners are members of the MPOA (master association), as well as, a member of an individual condominium association:  The Dunes at Minorca Association, The Hammocks at Minorca Association, or The Palms at Minorca Association. In addition, MPOA members are also members of the Easement Alliance, which is comprised of Minorca, The Inlet at Minorca and Villa Way.

The first Minorca building was completed in the summer of 2002 and the seventh, and last building began occupancy in March 2006. The first two buildings, Andros and Capri, form The Dunes at Minorca Association. The Andros has 48 units and the Capri has 46 units. The Hammocks at Minorca Association has two buildings, Salina and Karpathos. The Salina building is the smallest with 24 units, and the Karpathos has 48 units. The Palms at Minorca Association includes the Evissa, Mallorca, and Paros buildings, each containing 48 condominium homes.

The MPOA Board of Directors conducts business on behalf of the owners and board meetings are scheduled during the year, which owners may attend. Meetings are posted and an opportunity for owner input is provided. The MPOA consists of seven mid-rise condominium buildings (310 condominium homes) sharing 55 acres of grounds and amenities including the Casino Clubhouse (fitness center and social hall); a gated area that encloses a free-form swimming pool, spa, and recreation lawn; world class Har-tru tennis courts and a tennis center; a beach pavilion with an adjacent boardwalk; the Ponce de Leon River Pavilion; an on-site management office; and a continuously staffed gatehouse that provides entry into the community.
